Check out Junk Culture. AKA Deepak Mantena, he is a self described Soul/Tropical/Visual artist. His music is a mad mix of electronics, DJ scratches, samples, and effected vocals. All are used to create a sound image. He uses footage from 1950's propaganda films to create a hypnotic visual backdrop to his live performances. Used to great effect, it is captivating and surreal.
